Your Wedding DJ Consultation
Oxfordshire Wedding Entertainment has provided an exclusive DJ / Disco Service for weddings, civil partnerships and other formal events for many years. One of the key things we discovered at an early stage was the mutual benefit of meeting with clients prior to the day of the event.
Unlike general parties where the choice of DJ is much less important, at a wedding the entertainment is quite often the longest part of the day. Lots of people from different backgrounds and ages - family, friends and colleagues - all wanting to celebrate with you.
A good wedding DJ's role therefore is much more than playing songs. It's quite a challenge balancing the needs and wishes of a diverse group of people, which is one of the main reasons we offer our Consultation Meeting.
Usually held at the wedding venue, a quiet pub or here at our office, we'll get together for a chat. Your DJ Stephen will work through a set of common questions and "gotchas" and you can ask him anything you like. If you can't make it to a face-to-face meeting, not a problem - we can do a teleconference or even a video chat instead.
We will both take so much more away from the meeting than you could ever imagine, and when Steve arrives to DJ on your wedding day, he'll be there as an acquaintance and not just hired help.
